Grip Limited is looking for a seasoned Manager, Business to join our team! Business Managers have the unique opportunity to work on the front lines of the advertising industry. The Business Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all marketing communication programs. He or she will act as the hub of information for both the client and internal teams, assisting to build the brief, building schedules and estimates, securing approvals and ensuring budgets are adhered to. The ideal Business Manager will have an extraordinary ability to anticipate problems and be proactive in resolving issues. He or she will be a solid strategic thinker, highly organized, detail oriented and will be positive and calm under pressure. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of what is achievable within time and budget constraints.
Working with the Director, Business to devise a campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget
Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
Working with the Director, Business to brief creative staff and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
Managing the execution of day-to-day projects and integrated campaigns across all mediums
Managing and supporting the Account Coordinator and their roles and responsibilities
Handling budgets and managing campaign costs and invoicing clients
Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
Desired Skills and Expertise:
2-4 years’ experience at a Manager level working on integrated (mass and interactive) accounts, within a fast-paced agency environment
Automotive experience is an asset
Must have broadcast production experience
Proven experience working with advertising clients to fully understand their business model and campaign objectives, and ability to develop strategies to meet their goals
Adept at uncovering new revenue opportunities and identifying risks
Strong problem-solving skills
Polished verbal and written communication skills, with both internal colleagues and external clients
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and focus, with attention to detail
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint as well as Keynote
